Our Philosophy

For the past decade, our mission statement has been a simple one:

We seek to be the lowest cost / highest quality carbon manufacturer in the business, with technical support and customer service that are second to none.

But how do we live this mission statement?  From the CEO level all the way to the production floor, we follow several basic tenets to our everyday business life:

Listen intently – the key to our foundation.  By listening to our customers, our suppliers, our employees, and our business partners, we constantly get ideas to improve.

Respond quickly – if you want to be a customer service leader in your market, if you can not respond fast, then someone else surely will take your place.

Be proactive  - by solving problems before they occur, customers see value in our company without even realizing it!

Seek value – low cost never means low price.   The Jacobi team aims for business relationships where this feeling is mutual.

Strive for efficiency – by understanding that everything we do costs money, we constantly look for ways to do things better.  In the end, these savings wind up with our customers.

Take time to THINK  - probably the most important of our everyday tenets.  By taking time to think everyday, our employees are able to create  - and when innovative companies can create something new, everyone benefits!
